Rehabilitation in Ivanjica

Ivanjica is located at an altitude of 468m, which is considered the optimal height and ideal for both healthy people and people with various diseases. The geographical position of Ivanjica and the careful planning of the industrial zones enabled the air in Ivanjica to be very clean. Industrial plants do not affect the air quality and the surrounding hills allow a constant flow of air that “slides” over the vast deciduous and coniferous forests of Ivanjica hills and mountains.

After extensive research and examination of the impact of climate on human health, Ivanjica was declared the first air spa in Serbia, by a decree of the Government of the Republic of Serbia from 2000.

Clean air and untouched nature make Ivanjica a perfect place for rehabilitation and treatment of lung diseases. It is also one of the favorite destinations for preparing athletes of all ages.
